1. Start here

Open photoemu.com. On the splash screen you will see three main actions:

  1. New Project — blank canvas (choose size, then OK).
  2. Open From Computer — load PNG, JPG, PSD, and other supported files from your device.
  3. Templates — start from a preset layout when available.

Tip: You can also drag and drop an image onto the editor window to open it.

2. Interface tour

Left toolbar

Options bar

Below the menus — settings for the active tool (brush size, selection mode, transform values, etc.).

Right panels

History (undo steps), Swatches, and Layers. Use Layers every time you add text, shapes, or retouch.

Top menus

File, Edit, Image, Layer, Select, Filter, View, Window, More — plus Account, Fullscreen, and site links.

  1. Press L; pick Lasso, Polygonal, or Magnetic from the tool group.

  1. Press O; pick Dodge, Burn, or Sponge.
